Train-the-trainer teacher training.
Good morning, this Shester SEVERE and Rodney Adams DECAMP reporting from the first day of the train-trainer workshop at Centre Education Evangélique in Lascahobas (C.E.E.L.A) Plateau Central. We had eleven (11) teachers; some of them live far away from Lascahobas about an hour transportation to reach there. The first session of the training was excited. The teachers were impressed by the way they were really comfortable and they told us that they learned so many new things such as: Ice-Breakers. They are used to giving the students vocabularies to memorize by heart. They told us they will change the way of teaching English. The training showed them how to create activity in the classroom and it will allow the students to interact to each other. It was a great experience to work with them and they are looking forward to receiving other trainings to become more and more by teaching their students.
The first (1) day we presented to them MIIS program and Rotary Club. We started with Ice-breakers to show them how they can be familiar to each other, to avoid the students being stressed and felt comfortable in the class room. This program will make impact over one thousand and one hundred (1100) students approximately.
